FINAL (On Hope )And if our God is for us

"And if our God is for us, than who could ever stop us and if our God is with us, then what could stand against?!"

This hits me like a ton of bricks, every time I read it...Ok, I know I say that a lot, but I'm an emotional person and there are things that are so true that I feel to my very core, this is one of those truths. As I was sitting in church this morning all that was running through my mind was all the struggles I've been facing. If my life were a car I ran out of gas months ago, and now that the fumes are gone as well I'm behind this thing pushing with the last of my strength. Biggest problem is, I can't see where I'm going at all. I'm beat. Strength is demolished.

But these words speak to me, words of hope and of a persevering spirit. I know my butt is being whooped by the world, inside out, but the God of the UNIVERSE is on my side. He is with me, near me, at my disposal every second of the day. Therefore, no matter what trials come my way, no matter how broken or torn up or dead on the inside I feel or that I become, I still have Him. He is with me, He will not leave me here to die. He promised that He wouldn't give up on me, and I know He hasn't.

My spirit is renewed, strength will follow. That gives me hope, and calms my fearful soul, this God is for me, NOTHING, not temptation, or failure, or pain, or brokenness or confusion can keep me down because I have the ultimate weapon, and a surefire victory! That, my friends, is true for you too. Which is the most beautiful thing of all, we're not alone.
